Latvian passenger train modernisation completed

Baltic Marine Group is proud to announce that we have successfully commissioned the last of six MTU-powered DR-1AM passenger trains in Latvia. The trains are powered with MTU 12V1600R80L engines, each rated 700 kW @ 1900 rpm. The engines are also fulfilling the latest applicable EU Stage IIIB emission requirements thus significantly reducing the environmental impact of passenger trains.
